Rahel Ineichen
Registered Nurse HF & IBCLC Lactation Consultant
my calling
By your side with calm and expertise
It brings me great joy, time and again, to support families during such a special phase of life. With trust, individuality, and warmth, I support parents in the early days with their baby on everything to do with breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding is so much more than nutrition. It’s connection, regulation, closeness—and yes, sometimes it really is a challenge. Breastfeeding is like dancing, some are natural dancers and simply start together, and very often there are breastfeeding pairs who need guidance and support.
This is exactly where I come in:
with expertise, experience, and a calm eye for what’s happening between the lines. My support can be helpful throughout the entire breastfeeding journey, right up to weaning.
Journey to independence
My professional path
In 2006, I successfully completed my training as a Registered Nurse HF. While working on a postnatal ward, I had the opportunity to support many families in the first days after birth.
In 2017, I completed the additional qualification to become an internationally recognized IBCLC lactation consultant. This training clearly set my professional focus on breastfeeding support and complex breastfeeding challenges.
Since then, I’ve continued my education so I can support families in a well-founded, evidence-based way. I look forward to getting to know you and your baby and supporting you for part of your journey.

My specialization
Tongue tie
In my work, I’ve repeatedly seen how much an undiagnosed tongue-tie can make breastfeeding harder.
That’s why, in recent years, I’ve undertaken extensive training in oral restrictions and tongue-tie.
I support families:
-
with assessment
-
with preparing for a possible treatment
-
with follow-up care
-
in close collaboration with specialized professionals
Breastfeeding shouldn’t feel persistently painful or overwhelming.
My approach
Every family brings their own story. What matters to me is that you feel seen and taken seriously—without pressure and without judgment.
I work in a well-founded, transparent, and clear way. And at the same time, support can be gentle.
My goal is to give you confidence so you can go your own way in parenthood with self-determination.
