When should I get in touch for breastfeeding support?<\/h3>

Ideally during pregnancy \u2013 especially if you want a confident start to breastfeeding or if there are special circumstances.<\/p>\n

Of course, I am also there for you after the birth if any questions or uncertainties arise.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Are the costs covered by health insurance?<\/h3>

Yes. As an IBCLC with a ZSR number, three breastfeeding consultations are covered by basic insurance. <\/p>\n

Further consultations can be billed with a doctor's prescription.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Do you offer home visits?<\/h3>

Yes. I support families at home in the cantons of Lucerne, Zug, and Schwyz.
Consultations are also available at my practice in K\u00fcssnacht am Rigi upon request. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

How can I tell if there might be a tongue tie?<\/h3>

Signs can include pain during breastfeeding, frequently slipping off the breast, or restless drinking behavior.<\/p>\n

When does a breast pump make sense?<\/h3>

A breast pump can be useful in cases of premature birth, building up milk supply, sore nipples, or temporary separation of mother and child.
I will advise you individually and support you with its use.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

How does a consultation work?<\/h3>

We discuss your situation, observe a breastfeeding session (if possible), and develop practical steps together for your daily life.
It is important to me that you feel confident and empowered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

What if breastfeeding remains difficult despite support?<\/h3>

Sometimes it takes several steps or interdisciplinary cooperation.<\/p>\n

I will support you transparently and help you find a solution that works for you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Questions can arise very suddenly, especially in the early days after birth.<\/p>\n
